St. Mary’s School is situated four kilometers away from the township of Nagina on the way to Dhampur in the District of Bijnor, UP. The School in an English Medium Co-educational Catholic minority School, Administered by St. John’s Province of CMI Congregation.
Aims and Objectives
The School is open to all irrespective of caste, creed, socio-economic disparities or sex. Admission
- The Management reserves the right to admit or to refuse admission to pupils seeking admission to the School. Similarly, the Management decides when the question of retaining a student in a Class arises.
- Registration Forms will be available from the office. The allotment of the streams will be based on the pre-board exam results. The change of stream will not be allowed unless the candidate gets the demanded percentages in the ICSE exams.
- At the time of admission, students and parents shall be required to sign an affidavit and declaration that on the admission he/she submits himself, herself to the disciplinary rules framed by the school.
- All the admissions will be strictly on the basis of the result of Pre board exams. Any unfair means like attempt to bribe, recommendation etc will debar the candidate from getting admission.
- After the admission, if the student fails to attend the Class, no refund of any kind shall be made.
Recommendation to the Parents
- Parents are requested to bear in mind that the school attaches great importance to building a sound character in the pupils. Therefore the parents are expected to co-operate with the School by making their children understand that well ordered and a disciplined way of life is as important at home as in the School.
- Parents are requested to co-operate with the school authorities in enforcing discipline.
- Parents are expected to sign progress reports or any other similar documents when requested. Failure to do so will put their children to great inconvenience.
- Parents are strictly forbidden to meet their wards or their teachers when classes are being held. Parents are requested to meet the teachers on the day of parent – teachers meeting or with prior permission from the principal.
- If a student is likely to be ill for a long period the principal must be informed as early as possible.
- If absence, due to illness, lasts for more than three days, an application for leave must be made to the principal, accompanied by a registered doctor’s certificate.
- Those who return to school after absenting themselves without leave shall not enter the class without the permission of the principal.
- When students are taken on tours/picnics or excursions, utmost care will be taken of their safety. However the authorities take up no responsibility for any outward incident which may take place on such occasions.
- Parents are responsible for the arrangement of the conveyance of their ward to the School. Parents must see whether the Vehicle in which they are sending their ward is in proper condition and have fulfilled all the requirements of the government.
- The School year begins in the month of July. The courses of studies followed in the School lead to Indian Certificate of Secondary Examination (Class –XI ISC) All the prescribed text books, belts, ties and badges etc are made available in the market.
